Gippsland Inspired Festival 2010
A Palate of Passions festival in West Gippsland (part of the 2010 Gippsland Food and Wine Festival) is on again this Summer and Autumn. Headlined by the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival ‘Worlds Longest Lunch’ at the Noojee Trestle Bridge, there are events for all tastes and passions! Harvest of Gippsland is on again at Lardner Park on the 7th of March where you can taste and purchase local product, participate in live demonstrations and watch the annual signature dish competition. Live music from Ross Wilson & the Urban Legends. Other events include live music by the Rick Evans trio in the spectacular gardens of Springbank B&B, Hair of the Dog returns to Wild Dog Winery and an alpaca BBQ accompanied by local wines at Nickelby at Darnum.

Sumptuous food events include wine
and food dinners at The Grayne in Pakenham, Croatian style food,
including chevapchichi, roast piglet and lamb cooked in a wood fired
brick oven at Piedmonts annual ‘Taste of Croatia’, and discovering how
traditional Paellas are prepared, observe the techniques, get involved,
ask questions and delight in the heavenly aromas as the Paellas are
slowly brought to perfection at Brandy Creek Wines and View Cafe. Join
Essential Theatre as they return to Wild Dog Winery once again to
perform live in the vineyard on Saturday 13th, this year’s performance
will be "A Comedy Of Errors". Or what about Operetta Serenades at
Helena at Parnassus, where you will enjoy a three course dinner with
romantic entertainment. The Italian grazing feast at the Outpost
Retreat is sure to be a hit, with a 5 course Italian Grazing Feast -
antipasto, risotto, seafood, meat, dessert. Experience the delights of
